Human life began in the garden and I believe the nourishment for our life was also found in the garden. Beyond my Holistic Nutritionist Certification which focuses on plant based eating for healing there are also Biblical references as such which I find extremely interesting.
First of all, God tells us what to eat in Genesis:
Putting what God says here in Genesis 1:29 into modern English, it would read: “I have given you raw fruits and vegetables, seeds, and nuts to be your food!”
Don't you think that God knew what he was doing? Would he instruct human creation to consume a pure, raw, 100% plant-based, vegan diet if it weren't what our human bodies were designed for?
If God the Creator, told that first human creation that he was to eat only the raw fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts found in the garden then God must have known what He was doing!
Thus, this Genesis 1:29 diet is God’s perfect plan and will for the nourishment of the human physical body He (God) created, not just for that garden experience of Adam and Eve, but for the rest of man’s physical existence on planet earth!
In fact, it was not until after the fall some 1,700 years after God had given mankind this 100% plant-based (vegan) diet in Genesis 1:29, that God permitted man to consume, for the very first time, the flesh of an animal.
When you look at the comparison between herbivores and humans, we compare much more closely to herbivores than meat eating animals. Humans are clearly not designed to digest and ingest meat. Herbivores: have intestinal tract 10-12 times their body length. ... It is because we are conditioned to eat meat.
According to biologists and anthropologists who study our anatomy and our evolutionary history, humans are herbivores who are not well suited to eating meat.Humans lack both the physical characteristics of carnivores and the instinct that drives them to kill animals and devour their raw carcasses.
Not convinced? You think we were meant to eat meat? That's fine keep eating meat, but I BEG of you to keep eating TONS of veggies, fruits, grains, legumes, and nuts so that they can flush out the toxins of the meat or any processed items you are consuming.
